How to Shop with Us

 

Local shopping

 

If you are local, you can shop our physical store M, T, T, F 10 AM to 7 PM / Wednesdays 10 AM to 8 PM / Sat, Sun 10 AM - 5 PM and enjoy the same low prices as our web site in person.  You can also place your order on our web site, prepay physically and pick it up yourself. Please be sure to email us so we can set your order aside for pick up. If you will be picking up your prepaid order, you have two weeks maximum to pick up your goods. Should you fail to pick up your order within those two weeks, we reserve the right to restock your items and not refund your order payment.

We deliver locally free of charge, however we do have a $15.00 minimum to deliver your order. Please be sure to email prior to placing your order so we can schedule a home delivery.

Communication

After we send you a shipping quote and/or an inquiry on how to process your order, you have three days to respond. If you do not respond within three days, we will cancel your order and refund any payments towards the order.

Shipping Time

All orders are shipped immediately after payment for shipping has been approved and processed. While in most cases this may be the same day, if received later in the day, your order will ship the next business day after shipment processing. Please allow 7-10 business days depending on your location, selected shipment option, and the availability of merchandise for your order to arrive.

Out of Stock/Discontinued/Back Ordered Items

Although we are a well stocked store, we do occasionally run into a case where an item may be out of stock, back ordered or permanantly discontinued. In the rare occurance, we notify our customers through e-mail or phone and offer the option to substitute the said item for another product, allow the customer to wait until such item comes in if it is back ordered or out if stock, or to issue a store credit on their next purchase.

 

Payment Terms

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards as well as PayPal. Sorry, no checks or money orders.

 

Sales Tax

 

All New York shipping addresses are charged an 8.375% sales tax.

 

Return & Exchange Policy

 

We do not do monetary refunds, however we do offer a 14-day item exchange or store credit policy (less shipping) from the day your order had been received on defective, damaged or merchandise received in error on our part.

 

In order to return an item to us you must first send an e-mail with your original order number and item number explaining the situation before you send it back. When we receive your email we will in turn send you a return authorization number. When you send your item back, please write the return number on the original invoice included with your order and pack it within the box with the item.  Please be sure that when you send the item back you pack it safely, securely and as respectfully as the condition it had been shipped to you in order to prevent damage and/or theft during shipping.

 

Shipping & handling costs for any returns or exchanges are of the customer's responsibilty - we do not cover shipping charges on returns or exchanges.

When the return is received at our store, we will send out the new merchandise to you or issue you a store credit.  Please be aware that we reserve the right to reject the returned item(s) if they are not in good, resellable condition. We cannot accept items without their original packaging and in satisafactory condition. Any returns sent in poor condition cannot and will not be honored.   

 

Gift purchases may be exchanged for another item(s) or may choose a store credit with us for future purchases. 

 

Store credits are issued in the form of gift certificates and are good for 30 days from the date issued. We cannot honor store credit exceeding those 30 days.

 

Pricing & Errors

 

R and T Pet Supply reserves the right to correct typographical and pricing errors at any time and also reserves the right to honor or reject price discrepancies on a situational and circumstantial basis. Please unddestand we try and offer a full line of pet supplies. As we all know, the markwetplace is extremely volitale and prices are forever changing. We apologize in advance for any inconvienence that occurs from price discrepencies.

One last note: don't be alarmed if your order arrives in a box with another item's label or picture on it. We respect the environment and believe in recyclable materials to pack and ship our products. We therefor utilize the materials recieved previously by our own distributor's shipments to us to do so. We hope and respectfully request that you do the same for our planet and out of repect for our future generations inhereting it.
