Intake Requirements

PLEASE NOTE that we are currently NOT accepting animals at this time. Like just about every other rescue, we are overflowing with animals in need, and do NOT have a vacancy to physically take in more animals without adopting out the ones we currently have. However, if you need assistance with rehoming an animal, have found or rescued an animal and need a hand, we can help you. Email us with details and we will do our best to help find them a home. 

For future referrence, when we have do a vacancy, we require the following when surrendering an animal to us.

Dogs and cats:

• MUST be spayed/neutered.
• MUST be accompanied with proof of spay/neuter such as certificate or bill from the vet that treated the animal.
• MUST have current, up-to-date vaccinations, especially rabies.
• MUST be accompanied with proof of vaccinations and have a rabies certificate.
• All medical/behavior issues must be disclosed to us in advance.
• MUST see a vet prior to surrender to ensure the animal is in good health. Because an animal has a medical problem does not mean we will automatically turn the animal away, but we do reserve the right to know in order to make an informed decision in the best interest of the animal.

Once an animal is surrendered to us, you must sign a release form stating that this is no longer your animal and we reserve the right to place the animal where we ourselves feel is fit in the best interest of the animal without your approval or knowledge.
